Mark Mullan - Hong Kong
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Mark started his professional career working with the United Nations and later the European Commission, where he was responsible for the planning and management of aid programs being delivered in complex emergency environments in mostly African countries. His EU head- of- mission assignments over seven years included Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC. His last post in Africa was that of EU advisor within the Tanzanian Prime-Minister’s office focused on development assistance. Mark later established a consultancy firm focused on providing advice to Multilateral and Bilateral donors and an expanding client list of private family offices on a global basis. Mark then established Mullan and Associates, an Asian-based boutique financial search practice primarily focused on front office trading across various asset classes, which was recently absorbed into Mullan Schwartz. Mark and his team are based in Hong Kong where they head up a pan-Asian business that includes fixed income and structured products, equity and derivatives trading/research, institutional sales and alternative investment funds.

Frank Boland - Singapore
A native of Cork, Ireland, Frank has worked in the finance industry since 1995. Originally stationed in Taiwan for three years with SG Warburg, Frank also worked in China and Hong Kong with UBS for several years as an equity analyst. More recently, he has been based in Singapore and worked with a top-tier private equity firm before joining the Mullan Schwartz team as a senior partner. He has an extensive background in finance, having worked as an equity analyst and more recently as a CIO. Frank was involved in establishing the Mullan Schwartz presence in Singapore and heads up the Pan-Asian, Alternative Investment, Asset Management and Commodities practice teams that are based in Singapore. Frank holds an MBA from Thunderbird International Graduate School.

Tomoaki Taniyuchi - Tokyo
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Tomoaki started his finance career in New York in 1996. Upon graduation, Tomoaki joined Morgan Stanley as an analyst, where he worked for a number of years. He later moved to Goldman Sachs where he held a number of senior trading roles. Tomoaki returned to Asia with Goldman Sachs and was based in Hong Kong. He started his search career with another company before joining Mullan Schwartz to head the Tokyo office. Tomoaki and his dedicated team cover a number of practice areas including fixed income, equities, institutional sales and a newly established corporate finance practice unique to Japan. Tomoaki is a graduate of Keio University and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Peter Griffin - QFA FLIA AIIPM
Born in Dublin, Ireland. Peter is a Director of Allied Pension Trustees, Ireland’s leading independent pensions administration and investment consultancy firm. Peter is a Qualified Financial Advisor, an Associate of the Irish Institute of Pensions Managers, a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Ireland and Fellow of the Life Association of Ireland. Peter has over 25 years’ experience of advising employers, trustees and plan members on pension related matters. He has worked with some of the world’s leading pension and investment consultancy firms and has spent more than eight years with PwC advising their clients on investment related matters. Peter’s experience extends to providing advice and assistance on all aspects of the pension and employee benefits industry including the selection and appointment of appropriate investment managers, ongoing monitoring of performance and benchmark measurement, compliance, trustee governance, as well as the design, implementation and efficient operation of pension schemes in Ireland on a pan-European basis.
