Our Approach
- Send your resume to Mullan Schwartz (through the nearest office email best located to serve your needs)
- Keep your resume short providing an email address and a day and evening time contact number so that we can make contact to acknowledge receipt.
- Each resume is reviewed by a senior partner at Mullan Schwartz and after consultation with the appropriate head of the relevant practice a decision is taken in how we best proceed to develop a relationship to serve your needs.
- Either way, as a matter of courtesy we acknowledge all submissions and if we decide to take up an active role with a candidate, we will organize a meeting or telephone conversation to start the relationship. All resumes will be updated to our proprietary database and can be accessed at a future date should an appropriate opportunity arise.
- It should be noted that all our interaction with you is based on our philosophy of upmost discretion and at all times a high level of diplomacy is observed around communications either with you or with the client on your behalf.
- As Mullan Schwartz is normally retained by our clients, there is often a requirement for a detailed understanding of your resume and achievements that goes beyond a mere phone conversation. Therefore we try where possible to meet in person with all candidates so that a more personable relationship can develop overtime.
- During a formal retained or informal search process, we organize all aspects of the meeting logistics between client and candidate insuring that you don’t endure extra stress with what can be at times a stressful process for some.
- Invariably outside our normal retained business, our clients are often looking to build a business quickly or fill an immediate opening, in which case those clients are dependent on our detailed knowledge and contact network within our core markets. In consultation with your advisor at Mullan Schwartz, a mutual decision can be reached on whether an introduction should be made.
- At all times we will strive to provide you with timely feedback on all stages of the hiring process and to also include negotiations around your final compensation package and the deal closure.
- We can provide other advice to you on matters to do with relocation within Asia on an adhoc basis, especially as family interests need to be considered as part of the final decision making process around any new opportunity.
- We also think that a good working relationship is a two-way affair and therefore welcome constructive criticism or suggestions that help us better serve our valued relationship with you.
